bad-ip.net is a database of IP-addresses on the internet, that have exhibited bad behavior.
Currently the following types of bad behavior are being registered in the database:
- Remote Access
- Trying to guess/brute force usernames and passwords using remote access protocols (RDP, SSH, Telnet, VNC)
- Mail Server
- Trying to guess/brute force usernames and passwords using mail protocols (SMTP, POP3, IMAP)
- Web Server
- Trying to guess/brute force usernames and password or trying to exploit known vulnerabilities on Web Servers
- Spam
- Sending Spam
